How do I register my work with the Copyright Office?

In order to register your work with the Copyright Office, you should visit http://www.copyright.gov/. The copyright office’s website is easy follow, and will lead you through the steps you need to take in order to register your work.

Thanks for the link, but I couldn't help but wonder what the costs are to copyright your work. I will have to look into that, if I'm ever feeling super creative in the future. Thanks for the helpful hint.

is that copyright laws for all written works, including music?

also, I guess if I ever write that book I dreamed of making, I should copyright it before trying to get it published?
